Tehrik-e-Jadid
Under Divine guidance in 1934, Hazrat Musleh Maud, Khalifatul Masih II (rh) introduced a scheme called “Tehrik-i-Jadid” (New Scheme). The primary purpose of this scheme is to open new missons and construct mosques around the world.
Tehrik-e-Jadid is not only a scheme of financial sacrifice, but a scheme that demands a complete overhaul of one’s personality and character. Right from the time of its inception, Hazrat Khalifatul Masih II (ra) told the Jamaat that Tehrik-e-Jadid required them to changer their mindsets.
Aims of Tehrik-e-Jadid:
Lead simple lives
Participate in spreading the message of Islam worldwide
Dedicate their holidays from employment for the service of the Jamaat
Dedicate their lives to serve Islam
Dedicate during seasonal vacation, periods for the service of the Jamaat
Offer their children for life-time Waqf [devotion]
Pensioners/retired people to offer themselves for service of Jamaat
Dedicate part of one’s income and property
Influential and learned Ahmadis to deliver lectures on the teachings of Islam
Prepare counter arguments against the adverse propaganda
Seek advice from the Jamaat when deciding about higher education and careers for children
Develop the habit of manual labour
Take up humble and difficult jobs if unemployed
Promote Islamic culture
Promote honesty in the society
Keep roads and pavements clean
Protect women’s rights
Build houses in Qadian if possible
Offer special prayers in order to succeed in these undertakings
Waqfe-e-Jadid
Waqf-e-Jadid (The New Dedication) was initiated in 1957 by Hazrat Musleh Maud, Khalifatul Masih II (rh) to support the moral upbringing and education of the community.
Aims of Waqf-e-Jadid
Propagation of the teachings of Islam
Training and upkeep of mu’allemeen (teachers) around the world
Education and moral training of Ahmadis in rural communities
Publication of literature
Publication of the Holy Qur’an
Establishment of schools
Establishment of radio stations in various countries to broadcast teachings of Islam
Establishment of hospitals
Other humanitarian works
Lajna Ima’illah Goals
Our goal is 100% participation as well as increase in contribution. All Lajna and Nasirat are to be encouraged to contribute to this scheme no matter how nominal it may be. And those who are already contributing are to be encouraged to increase their level of sacrifice even if by a small percentage.
Lajna and Nasirat are to be encouraged to pay their own Waqf-e-Jadid contribution
Lajna are encouraged to pay the contribution for their children under the age of seven
