It is the duty of every muslim women to seek knowledge. The Taleem department ensures that every measure is taken in order to spread religious and secular knowledge amongst all Lajna members. As Lajna our goal is to to enhance our knowledge and spread the knowledge attained, in order to become good ambassadors of Islam.

Selections from the Writings of the Promised Messiah
- The Promised Messiah (as)
This book has been selected to encourage members to read the Promised Messiah’s writing on various topics ranging from Allah to life after death.
Waqf-e-Aarzi
Waqf-e-Arzi (Temporary Waqf) is an opportunity to take up responsibility to serve the community at their capacity. It involves members volunteering their time (i.e weeks, months etc) to serve in different areas, focusing on teaching the Holy Quran and providing religious education.
A means of Self-Reformation
"The second benefit of the Scheme of 'waqf-e-arzi' is that the people proceeding on this Scheme are enabled to examine their weaknesses before they leave and thus are provided with an opportunity to pray for the removal of those weaknesses. They are thus prepared for 'waqf-e-arzi' by gaining more knowledge of the faith through reading religious literature that they intend to take with them. They are motivated to become examples for the people they are getting ready to visit. The groups of 'waqf-e-arzi' have benefited greatly from the blessings of prayer."

Constitution
86. It shall be the duty of secretary Talim to take every possible measure to spread religious and secular education among Lajna.
87. Secretary Talim shall prepare programme for the education of illiterate women and children in the Jama’at so that each woman and child can read and write. Secretary Talim shall also give reminders on the importance of education boys.
88. Secretary Talim shall draw the attention of Majlis towards the following:
Teaching of reading of the Holy Qur’an
Teaching of translation of the Holy Qur’an
Memorisation of Salat along with its translation.
Reading of books written by Hazrat Masih Maud (as)
