Lajna Imaillah and Nasirat-ul-Ahmadiyya Australia

By the grace of Allah the Almighty, the 40th National Ijtema of Lajna Imaillah and Nasirat-ul-Ahmadiyya Australia was held at Masjid Baitul Huda, Sydney, on 8-11 May 2026. This year’s theme, “Muhabbat e Ilahi” graciously provided by Huzoor-e-Anwar (aa), inspired attendees to reflect on various ways of building a strong connection with their creator.

The Ijtema encompassed various academic competitions and insightful educational sessions. A dedicated Lajna Hub hosted presentations and discussions on ‘Healthy Ageing’, ‘Understanding and developing Tawakkkul al Allah’, ‘Spiritual Readiness for marriage’ and ‘Raising Divinely anchored children in a digital world’. Meanwhile, the Nasirat Hub offered hands-on activities such as cap and tote bag painting. Nasirat also had the opportunity to learn about meaningful topics including the role of angels in our lives, good friendships and healthy habits for the mind and body.

Attendees participated in sports competitions fostering teamwork and sisterhood, and enjoyed browsing the Sanat-o-Dastkari, book, and food stalls during breaks.

The Ijtema concluded with an awards ceremony, recognising the achievements of participants. A total of 1050 members attended the ijtema. May Lajna Imaillah Australia continue to thrive through stronger spiritual connections and lasting sisterhood for generations to come. Ameen.
